GSQT – In the school year 2020-2021, Hanoi will have 107,246 grade 9 students considered for graduating from lower secondary school, but which ways do non-public schools in Hanoi enroll students in grade 10?
As expected, the number of enrollments in high schools is 90,730 students. In particular, public schools recruit 66,492 students, non-public schools in Hanoi recruit 21,450 students, financially autonomous public recruit 2,788 students, enroll in continuing education – vocational education centers 8,043 students enrolling in vocational training institutions 8,473 students.
To enroll in grade 10 for the school year 2020-2021, public schools are financially autonomous, non-public schools in Hanoi will apply the admission method to enroll students. Specifically, Hanoi requires these schools to choose one of two enrollment options.
Option 1: Admission is based on the admission scores of candidates attending the entrance exam to public high school in the school year 2019-2020.
Option 2: Admission is based on the results of training and learning of students at the secondary school level, if any class repeats, then take the results of the school year of that class.
Expected enrollment time this year, students will apply for admission from July 1st to July 31st; successful students apply for admission from August 1st to August 15th.
The entrance exam to grade 10 in Hanoi will take place on July 17th and July 18th, 2020. Successful students will have to confirm their admission (online or in person) from August 3rd to August 5th and submit the admission application at the confirmed school from August 12th to August 15th.
