GSQT – HCMC recommends that students take extra classes in the school for no more than 6 periods per week and for no more than 18 periods per week.
HCMC Department of Education and Training has just submitted a report to People’s Committee on the promulgation of regulations related to management of tutoring.
With the case of students take extra classes in the school, schools may organize tutoring on the principle of not affecting, intermingled with regular classes, no extra classes depending on the actual situations like Sundays, public holidays, New Year holidays…
HCMC Department of Education and Training recommends that students take extra classes in the school must not exceed 6 periods/subjects/week and no more than 18 periods/week. Each extra class must not exceed 45 students, ensuring the selection of teachers and subjects according to the wishes of students.
The rate of extra tuition is due to the agreement between the parents and the schools. Tutors do not directly collect or pay for extra classes.
HCMC Department of Education and Training also stressed the responsibility of the principal in managing tutoring activities. Principals are responsible for supervising the observance of regulations on tutoring and strictly handling cases where teachers force students to take extra classes in any form.
It can be said, tutoring is the topic of discussion that has never been decreased the heat on forums and conferences. If tutoring is true to the nature of voluntary spirit, there is nothing that society condemns.
