What is the paradox in using high school teachers?

GSQT – We all know that the teachers are the people who are responsible for the education quality of a country. But currently, there are many paradoxes in training, improving, and using Vietnamese high school teachers.
Low status with high responsibility
The responsibility of teachers on ensures the education quality is clear. But with low income, struggling in meeting basic needs, have lowered the social status of this academic job.
Income from salary and allowance of high school teachers doesn’t meet the basic needs of themselves and their family, especially at city, urban areas. About 40% teachers don’t want to be a teacher if they can do it all over again because of low income.
In this basic and complete reform, even if the academic program and textbook are on par with the ones from Finland, it is going to fail if we can’t solve the problem with teacher’s income
Have to teach in integrated method but are only trained to teach one subject
Currently, we train teachers to teach one single subject but nowadays trend is integrated teaching. Even when the majority of lecturers nowadays have deep understanding of specific capacity of their student on the subjects that they will teach in high school, and understand the reason for using integrated teaching method, they don’t have the ability to design some integrated teaching theme to keep up with their student’s capacity.
Lecturers at University of Pedagogy interested a lot in integrated teaching even though the majority of them don’t have many contacts with this. So, according to the reformation route, in 2019, high school teachers will have to teach integrated sciences, but they are only trained with singular subject teaching.
Accumulate degrees, certificates, but without real knowledge
Each year, the government has budget to foster teachers and academic managing staffs. But, there is no independent quality verification organization thus leads to ineffective teacher fostering. This causes teachers to accumulate degrees, certificates without any real knowledge to apply into reality.
But, even with the new standard set for high school teachers, it will not receive support from the teachers if not applied in a righteous and fair way.
