GSQT – Center for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality of VNU-HCM has announced the results of the first phase assessment on April 10th. However, candidates who have taken this phase are still entitled to continue the second round and use higher results for admission.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of VNU-HCM said that candidates with results of competency assessment in 2019 have the right to register up to 3 aspirations in the member schools of VNU-HCM.
Thus, it is possible that 3 aspirations are located in 3 different schools. The admission committee of each school will be recruited according to the results. If a competitor has a good score, he or she will be able to enroll in many branches in the same admission.
In HCMC, there are many schools actively use the competitor’s assessment results for admission, as a separate form or in collaboration with other forms of assessment of the unit. Candidates should follow the admission notice of these schools for further consideration.
According to Mr. Chinh, on April 15th, VNU-HCM will open the registration gate for the second phase. Candidates have participated in the first round of exams. If they want to continue the second round of exams to improve their results, they only need to use the correct account they have on the system to continue. For new candidates, you need to register an account, then use your account to register for the second round. The registration process lasts from April 15th to May 31st, the contestants will take the second round of competition on the day.
Admission will take place after July 15th, using the results of the first and second round competency assessments. In the case of candidates taking both tests, use higher results for admission. Reportedly, the first round of the exam evaluated the capacity of the VNU-HCM has 33,102 contestants, of which the average score is 674 points, the highest score is 1,078 points (1,200 scale) and the lowest score is 248 points.
There are a total of 29 universities and colleges use higher results for admission, including 8 members of VNU-HCM.
