GSQT – 2021 high school graduation exam basically remained stable as this year, Ministry of Education and Training continued to issue the exam questions.
At the meeting, Ministry of Education and Training proposed a plan to organize graduation exams and university and college enrollment in the period 2021 – 2025 and was agreed upon by the majority of the council members. Accordingly, 2021 high school graduation exam will remain stable and gradually complete the exam model as 2020. In which, the responsibility of state management and implementation responsibility will be clearly defined.
Thus, the graduation exam in the coming period is still paper-based. Provinces are encouraged to organize exams on computers when they fully meet the requirements and conditions such as exam question banks, human resources, equipment, procedures… Examination on computers must be calculated to ensure the requirements are correlated with paper-based exams and candidates may be tested a number of times a year.
The high school graduation exam in the coming years will still have 5 exams including: 3 independent tests (Math, Literature, Foreign Language); 1 natural science composite exam including a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology; 1 social science composite exam, including a combination of History, Geography, Citizen Education for candidates of high school education and a combination of History and Geography for candidates of continuing education.
Exam content is in the current high school program, mainly grade 12 program. Exam question banks are supplemented in quantity as well as ensure quality, objectivity, reliability and balance between exam questions.
In the 2021 high school graduation exam and the first period of 2021 – 2025, Ministry of Education and Training continues to develop and provide exam questions to localities, ensuring consistency in national assessment, giving regulations and solutions to support localities in building exam question banks in order to be eligible to preside over exam questions for the following years.
