GSQT – Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha has signed to promulgate a directive on tasks and solutions for the 2020-2021 school year.
Based on the requirements and practical situation of localities, Minister Phung Xuan Nha directed the entire education sector to continue focusing on implementing 9 main groups of tasks and solutions for the 2020-2021 school year.
The cross-cutting goal in 9 key groups of tasks for the 2020-2021 school year is to innovate and ensure the quality of education. Specifically, the identified tasks include:
- Reviewing, planning and developing the network of education and training institutions throughout the country. In particular, proposing mechanisms and policies to encourage the development of the system of non-public educational institutions in areas where conditions permit.
- Improving the quality and standardizing the contingent of teachers and educational administrators at all levels. In which, there is a policy to attract excellent students to the pedagogy; pay attention to building specific policies and mechanisms for the development of the contingent of teachers and educational administrators.
- The education sector develops and improves the quality of preschool and general education; reforming the management and improving the efficiency of continuing education and ethnic education; enhancing ethical education; lifestyle, life skills, ensuring school safety; physical education for students.
- Improving the quality of foreign language teaching, especially English at all levels and training levels.
- Promote the application of information technology in education management, and implement digital transformation in education and training.
- Strengthen decentralization and autonomy in educational institutions.
- Integrating internationally in education and training, promoting the attraction of prestigious foreign educational institutions into Vietnam to establish foreign-invested educational institutions and cooperation or association with Vietnamese educational institutions according to the provisions of law.
- Strengthening facilities, ensuring the quality of education and training activities.
- Developing human resources, especially high quality human resources.
Since then, Ministry of Education and Training has also identified solutions for the 2020-2021 school year to be maintained and developed in a focused direction. Along with institutional improvement, increasing investment resources, quality accreditation and communication, notably improving leadership and management capacity of educational administrators, reforming work. manage; promote inspection, inspection and supervision; prevent and strictly deal with negative effects in education and training activities.
