GSQT – This is 8 duties in the new school year of education that MOET want to apply.

1. To review, plan and develop network of educational and training establishments throughout our country

MOET shall review and streamline network of pre-school education and universalization of continuing organizational and management improvement and quality improvement and performance of public non-business units and the direction of the Government, ensuring the quality of education.

2. Raising the quality of the group of teachers and educational administrators

Education sector continues to revise and rearrange the group of teachers and lecturers in association with ensuring the regulations on the number of teachers and lecturers at all levels and in training create, suitable to review, arrange, correct the system of schools and classes.

3. Orientation of education in general education

One of duties in the new school year is promulgate a new general education program, textbook selection guide, development of local educational content and materials, to guide the implementation of new general education program.

4. Improve the quality of teaching foreign languages, especially English at all levels and training levels

MOET continues to renovate the form and methods of examining and assessing the foreign language ability of pupils and students according to the standards set forth in the process and according to the results of each period of education and training.

5. Promote the application of information technology in teaching and educational management

Continuing to improve skills in applying information technology for cadres, civil servants, students, pupils is also an important duty in new school year.

6. Promote the autonomy and accountability of education and training institutions

Education sector continues to strengthen the autonomy and accountability of pre-school and general education institutions in developing and implementing school education plans that meet the requirements of renovation.

7. International integration in education and training

MOET asks some universities actively expands international cooperation in scientific research, increasing the number of teaching programs in foreign languages, transferring technology, recognizing credit, linking programs with prestigious foreign universities to attract foreign students and scientists to learn and research in Vietnam.

8. Develop human resources, especially high quality human resources

With other duties in the new school year, education sector continues to develop higher education programs in line with regional and international standards, fit with requirements of labor market.
