What is the SAT exam?
SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a test to assess the capacity of candidates want to apply to universities in the US.
Currently, the number of international students enrolled in the US is increasing. The diversity of nationalities, educational orientation and how to acquire knowledge among students of each country are also different. Therefore, to be able to evaluate the level of students most fairly, the SAT has been proposed and held for decades.

What is the structure and what is the SAT exam?
SAT scores are valid for 5 years, divided into two categories: SAT General Test (SAT I) and SAT Subject Test (SAT II).
- SAT I is a compulsory certificate for admission to the US. The exam structure includes: Reading, Math, Writing and Language and Essay.
SAT Writing consists of short questions and an essay. The exam will provide short questions that require error detection in sentences, development and paragraphs. The requirement is that candidates must be able to use grammar and language skills. The essay section will last for 25 minutes, and requires candidates to analyze and make judgments on any academic topic.
SAT exam is mainly a multiple choice format, the time it takes to solve each problem is about an hour. Scores are scored on a 200-800 scale for each section of the test. The maximum total score for the SAT is 1,600.
- SAT II is for those who want to apply and impress highly competitive schools. The test will depend on each candidate’s choice of subjects in which they have strengths. There are many subjects to choose from Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology to History, Literature and other languages.
