Just like GRE, take GMAT test on computer does not have a deduction for incorrect answers. Scores are scored on two main parts: Quantitative and Verbal, converted to percentage points, taken percentage points to convert into official points.
Highest score: 710 – 800. Achieving this score means that you have already surpassed 90% of the other candidates.
- Quantitative: 51 or higher.
- Verbal: 40 or higher.
- Reasoning: 8.
- Essay: 6.
Competitive score: 650 – 700. You can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you are in the top 25% of candidates with the highest test scores.
- Quantitative: 48-50.
- Verbal: 35-39.
- Reasoning: 7.
- Essay: 5.5.

Good score: 550 – 640. If you achieve this scale, you should consider choosing a good school but do not be too famous because there will not be many advantages when recruiting into programs with competitive rates.
- Quantitative: 38-47.
- Verbal: 28-34.
- Reasoning: 5-6.
- Essay: 4.5-5.
Below average: Under 550. With this score, you can also register quite a lot of programs but it will not be easy to compete with other candidates.
- Quantitative: 37 or lower.
- Verbal: 27 or lower.
- Reasoning: 4 or lower.
- Essay: 4 or lower.
In short, if you get a good score when take GMAT test on computer, that’s good news. But if it’s just a mock test score, you shouldn’t be too subjective.
