SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test) is the standardized entrance exam for international students from grade 3 to 11 who wish to study in US.
SSAT test is divided into 3 levels:
- Elementary: For students in grade 3-4.
- Middle: For students in grade 5-7.·
- Upper: For students in grade 8-11.
SSAT consists of 2 parts: an essay (not graded) and a part of multiple choice questions including: Math, Reading, and Verbal.
SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is the standardized exam for admission to many universities in US, which test English proficiency, assessing natural knowledge, society and analytical skills. Almost all US colleges and universities accept SAT score because it will be a measure of academic success when they go to college.
SAT consists of 3 parts: Math, Reading, Essay (optional), lasting about 3 hours and 15 minutes (3 hours and 50 minutes if essay is included).
