GRE is a standardized test used for admission to Master or PhD in natural sciences and social sciences (except Medicine, Pharmacy, Law) in US. GRE certificate is used to compare and evaluate academic performance of graduate candidates in addition to university transcripts and other relevant certificates.
The test has 2 formats: General Test and Subject Test. General Test is taken on a computer and consists of 3 parts: language, quantitative and analytical writing. Subject Test is made on paper and are held 3 times a year worldwide.
