GSQT – Math is almost the basic science required for most educational programs both domestically and internationally. Study A-level Math in HCMC is taught mainly by international schools under UK education system.

A-level, also known as English Baccalaureate, is Cambridge pre-university program for students equivalent to grade 11 and 12 in Vietnam. The program lasts 2 years, the first year is called AS year, the following year is called A2 year (or A-level year).

Students who have completed AS year and AS certification exam can study up to A2 year or transfer to Foundation for 1 year if the level and score are not followed by A2 year. However, some large and long-standing universities in UK only accept A-level, not accepting Foundation.

A-level Math is a compulsory subject for almost all majors at university such as: Engineer, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology… A-level Math divided into 2 levels: Mathematics and Mathematics Further. In AS year, students can choose from 1 of 3 textbooks: Pure Math, Pure Math and Mechanics, Pure Math and Statistics.

In A2 year, students will choose to study Mathematics or Mathematics Further. With further level selection, students must have a really good academic ability and spend a lot of time in research work through books other than studying on the school. Although study A-level Math in HCMC or in other countries teaches UK education system, it is the same route.

A-level also allows students to self-review at home or international education centers that can register for freelance exam at British Council. This will help children who are not eligible to attend an international school have the opportunity to take this certification to submit to major universities around the world.

Therefore, study A-level Math in HCMC is not only studying at international schools, but many international education centers still offer training courses for students who want to take the freelance exam.
