Few things on IB Korean

IB Korean course will help to improve students’ academic knowledge and language. The course main aim is to improve ability in analyzing document and identify the main idea of it. These will be improved together with other skills like reading – writing, analytical and reviewing document (including non-literature document like advert, mail, news…) so that student can evaluate factors like culture, context and style in the process of making that documents.

Besides that, improve students’ ability in expressing their thoughts through means like verbal or writing (essay, poem, oral exam…) is also another aim of the course. This will help student’s research in the future.

Some reminders for studying IB Korean

IB Korean is rated to not as difficult as Japanese because the Korean alphabet is simpler. The biggest challenge studying Korean is a huge amount of vocabulary with grammar, word order. To become effective in studying, we must a clear target. Continuously expand vocabulary to have an easier time at study and to distinguish borrowed words, speaking Korean regularly helps us to be familiar with Korean context and know more about honorifics of this country.

When study a language, there will be many differences unlike our imagination because of the alphabet, a way to express, and even think. But they will be a valuable experience in life and enrich our knowledge.
