What is A-level program? A-level stands for General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, a program developed by Cambridge International Examination Council (CIE) for international students.
Students will usually study within 2 years, the first year is called AS, the second year is called A2. A-level score is rated on a scale of A to E, A is the highest point, S and U are the failing grades. If you have a very impressive transcript after the exam, you will get an A-level certificate.
Depending on your ability and proficiency, you can choose from 4 to 6 subjects to study in the first year and end of the first year with an AS exam. In the second year, A2, you will choose 3 of the first-year subjects to study and finish the program with these 3 subjects. Choosing the right course will help students improve their chances of being accepted into prestigious universities.
