How to learn Biology in English?
GSQT – In the curriculum of secondary and high schools in Vietnam, Biology is not received much concern of both parents and students. This may be the reason why is hard to find how to learn Biology in English?

One important reason to explain why Biology in English does not play an important role is because only the students who are interested in food chemistry, medicine, should have learn Biology well. That is why Economics students have no interest in Biology. If it’s Math, then all of students are “rushing” to improve scores in order to being accepted by top university.

In fact, Vietnamese students do not understand the importance of knowing how to learn Biology in English, so to learn this subject is such a waste of time. Meanwhile, in overseas countries, especially advanced Western countries, Biology is considered one of the most important foundation science subjects. This subject is promised to bring good job opportunity in the future, make dreams of becoming the scientists, researchers promisingly later.
Biology learning methods
Since Biology is not received much attention, to get how to learn Biology in English is also disadvantaged and “lacking in important” than Math, Physics, Chemistry. Students do not have time to learn more about Biology because they have chosen to spend their time on doing Math, Physics and Chemistry exercises. It is worth saying that teaching Biology in English is not that such easy at all. The teachers must be fluent in English, and have pedagogic skills to communicate well. Moreover, Biology in English is extremely “hard to study” because of “extremely hard” major terms. This shows how much effort the teacher has paid without being received properly capacity evaluation.

However, nowadays, thanks to the development of science in globalization world, we can hope that Biology will soon regain its inherent position in Vietnam education and to find Biology in English teacher should have respected as other science in English teachers in general.
