The very first step is to make a study plan. You can spend 100 minutes or even 200 hours learning GMAT. Next, you have to find materials. The materials can be reference books, softwares or preparation websites. You should refer to your friends’ opinion or someone who used to take GMAT exam preparation to get the most useful materials. Besides, you should find more questions and detailed topics, books that have advanced Maths exercises for those who want to get high score in Math in English. Moreover, you can learn online GMAT in some forums discussing GMAT topics.
When self-learning GMAT, do not force yourself too much, you only need 15-20 minutes for new knowledge, 1-2 hours for practicing. However, you have to do everyday to get the best result. After every time you finish practising, you should take note the mistakes you usually make into a notebook to correct those next time.
Finally, to check whether your self-learning method was effective or not, you should have mock GMAT tests. This allows you to consolidate your knowledge regularly, get used to the time pressure and know your weakness so you can practice and improve more.
