GSQT – Economics is considered as “the science of choice”, focusing on the use and management of limited resources to meet the maximum physical needs of people. In some international schools, the program was taught in English.
Economists concerns about the behaviors of the factors involved in business activities such as business owners, consumers, workers and government. Every economist has the same goal of maximizing their economic profit.
Economics is divided into two main areas: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Students will have to research on the world economy in general and Vietnam in particular. Most students have trouble checking the dictionary for hours to understand the economic issues in English, then they must interpret and understand the issues related to the specialized terminology.
For higher levels, without the knowledge of Economics in English, they will have difficulty when doing essay or report in the learning process. In addition, the language barrier will restrict communication with foreign teachers, asking aversion will lead to not understand the material, low performance in school, depression and finally no interest in Economics.
