For non-practical lessons, teachers often rely on descriptions of experiments and pictures in textbooks. When teachers are limited in combining theory and practice, it will be difficult to attract students into the lecture.
However, most bilingual and international schools now emphasize the practice of scientific experiments, especially for Chemistry – Biology subjects, which require the use of many different compounds.
Put experiments into the lecture
As lab practice is the best way to approach and remember knowledge, teachers should try to evaluate available tools to let students be more able to do experiments. Teachers should also balance between theory and practice so students will not feel bored and could not pay attention on the class.
