IB and A-level are not strange to parents as well as students studying in international schools. If the long-term orientation of their children’s future, parents should consider the elements of the career path to make the most appropriate decision in choosing whether to compare IB and A-level?

There are many differences between these two systems. IB requires a minimum of 6 compulsory subjects, including at least 3 HL subjects, and the remaining SL level. At the same time, A-level requires only a minimum of 3 subjects.
Learning many subjects in IB program has caused concern for both students and parents while in A-level program, students only need to select 3 subjects in 2 final years of high school. Students haven’t to study subjects that are not their strength.
University admission conditions
At A-level, students will learn more about subjects they have chosen. A-level program is predominantly popular in UK. If parents decide to make their children to go to study in UK, this is a smart choice. Because most universities in UK accept admissions based on A-level results.

IB program includes subject choice, encouraging skill development, and an emphasis on independent thinking. If parents plan to send your child to study in other countries, not in UK or have not made the correct decision at the present, parents should be directed to IB program because it is more famous than A-level. Many universities around the world will rely on the results of IB program as an entry admission.
IB program or A-level program will suit different students at different times. If your child is coming to a new school with the immediate task of attending general exam, determining which program is closer to next education system that will help you make the right decision to compare IB and A-level for your child?
