GSQT – Before the high school exam took place, many new faculties of HCMC National University in 2020 was announced.

University of Natural Sciences intends to recruit 3,450 students for 25 majors/programs of higher education with 5 modes.

• Direct admission, priority admission according to the Ministry of Education and Training with a target of about 4%.
• Priority for admission according to the regulations of HCMC National University with a target of about 15%.
• Admission by high school test scores in 2020, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training with a target of about 40%.
• Examination of the results of HCMC National University of Technology Examination Results with a target of about 40%.
• Admission by international exam results or admission to high school graduates abroad with a target of about 1%.

The school also added information, it plans to open 5 new faculties of HCMC National University in 2020 includes: medical physics (high quality), data science, applied math, computer science, geotechnical engineering.

USSH will recruit 3,339 targets and formally train 5 disciplines including journalism, psychology, international relations, English language, tourism and travel service management. All students in the system of HCMC National University can enroll if they meet the school’s conditions. Admissions programs for high quality programs include journalism, English language, Japanese studies, international relations and travel service management.

Similarly, according to the admission plan of University of Information Technology, the university intends to enroll 22 majors/majors at 4 modes.

• Direct enrollment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (maximum 5% of the target).
• Priority for admission according to the regulations of HCMC National University (maximum 15% of the target).
• Admission according to high school exam results in 2020 (at least 40% of the target).
• Admission is based on the results of HCMC National University’s competency assessment exams (maximum 40% of the target).

The school also announced that it would open some new faculties of HCMC National University in 2020 towards new directions such as computer science (artificial intelligence), computer engineering (embedded systems and IoT).
