GSQT – In US, AP Physics is very popular and collectively refers to College Board Advanced Placement Program courses and exams covering various areas of Physics. To achieve high results in this subject, many students chose to study AP Physics in HCMC during their preparation.
AP is considered a “ticket” for college achievement, because if you get a high score in this exam, you can use that score to convert into credits for equivalent subjects in the university. The process of studying and practicing AP is relatively easier than other international programs, so many candidates are free to choose. Study AP Physics in HCMC is also a way to prepare you best for conquering the final grades.
AP Physics has many courses and each course culminates in an optional exam for which high-performing students may receive some credit towards their college coursework, depending on which college or university they attend.
AP Physics B was supposed to be equivalent to an introductory algebra-based college course in Physics, with a laboratory component. The course was non-calculus-based, utilizing algebra and basic trigonometry to solve various physics problems. AP Physics B was divided into five different sections: Newtonian Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Waves and Optics, and Atomic and Nuclear Physics. This course was replaced in 2014 by AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2.
AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 were designed to emphasize critical thinking and reasoning as well as learning through inquiry. They remain as algebra-based courses that do not require students to have taken calculus. AP Physics 1 covers Newtonian mechanics, introduction to electricity (Coulomb’s Law and simple DC circuits), and mechanical waves and sound. AP Physics 2 covers thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, optics, electricity and magnetism, and modern Physics.
AP Physics C is mainly applied for majors in Physical Science or Engineering and covers Newtonian mechanics, Newton’s laws of motion, work, energy, and power, systems of particles and linear momentum, circular motion and rotation, oscillations and gravitation, electricity and magnetism (electrostatics, conductors, capacitors, dielectrics, electric circuits, magnetic fields, electromagnetism…).
Study AP Physics in HCMC, students will get points for these topics depending on their orientation. You are also given mock tests, past papers, and quickly grasp the exam structure as well as effective lesson tips.
