GSQT – In contrast to national curriculum, Economics is taught in grade 9 in international schools. Because it is a new subject for Vietnamese students, so they will look for the center to study Economics in English.
For students studying in international schools, Economics is one of over 70 subjects in IGCSE (for students in grades 9 and 10), it is chosen by a lot of students due to its practicality.
Economics helps you to familiarize yourself and understand the basic concepts of how to operate the economy such as market, capitalization, cash flow, supply and demand… Then, if interested in the subject, you can choose to continue in higher education such as IB, AP or A-level (for students in grades 11 and 12).
Students who are passionate about politics, business and the world economics are given the choice of this subject. Study Economics in English is highly practical, the types of exercises require the understanding of the concepts, thereby analyzing and explaining the causes of certain economics situations. Therefore, this subject requires you to regularly update the world situation.
If you are still interested in this subject, but because of the novelty of it you do not keep up, you can find tutors. When looking for teachers to help you study Economics in English, the prerequisite is that teachers must graduate in Economics, have the ability to speak English fluently both in communication and English, even Vietnamese or native speakers.
