GSQT – SSAT preparation is a quite new form with students in Vietnam, because they have just known SAT exam or ACT exam before. Thus, how to learn SSAT to get desired score?
SSAT is a standardized entrance exam for students from grade 5 to grade 11 in secondary and high school in US. Because the age to take SSAT exam is within a certain range so ways to take SSAT exam preparation have also divided in different levels that are suitable with academic performance of the students. SSAT is divided into two different levels: Lower is for students from grade 5 to grade 7, Upper is for students from grade 8 – 11. To get desired score, you should make a specific plan because normally you always spend between 3-6 months for preparation. But, how to learn SSAT?
With academic terms, if you don’t know how to remember, you should take note in your notebook. You should add some new words from preparation books to learn regularly.
You can search online forums, make friends and join SSAT preparation groups to learn and exchange exercises which creates excitement in preparation process. However, this method depends on whether you are initiative to add friends or not. It is limited about knowledge, because study group doesn’t work as always.
Besides, you should refer to preparation books such as Official Guide for SSAT. The set of books have SSAT sample tests, exam registration information, direction and variety exercises for each type of question.
