- Encouraging student to be independent: Most schools in Canada are encouraging students to be independent, self-taught, self-made and self-responsibility at an early age.
- Respecting privacy: In Canada, personal information of student is known by only that student and school. There is no telling point all students after test exam. No monthly ranking score-board which is sent to parents. Privacy does not stop at some points. A student may be evaluated to be slower on the uptake than classmates, but no one, even a student, would know this assessment.
- Personalized programs: More differences between Vietnam and Canada education that instead of trying to force student to a shape and wash hands of responsibilities, schools in Canada have tried their best to meet the demands of each student, willing to spend much effort, time to support a single individual.
- No textbooks nationally: Every province of Canada has an agency in charge of private education. Each district has an education board to control the schools in area. Each school has the general guidelines for the content which is taught. Teachers have directly taught and prepared lesson plan. - Respecting students: This was expressed through very small acts such as teacher was squatted to talk to students instead of standing and speaking from the above or teacher gave big hand to shake hands (rather than rubbing their head) to familiarize him or her at the first time when they were in grade 1. And the most important thing is that teachers always say sorry.
- Free supporting skills: In classroom, each student has usually responsible for a week. Teachers just sit and listen, occasionally supplement or ask questions, suggest an important point. If student are lack of presentation skills, reading, identifying, and controlling emotions, the school has always supported for free.
- No tuition: Free education in Canada from the age of 4 until the end of grade 12. Studying university is quite cheap. The government has given loans for colleges, after graduating and having a job they have to pay debts. If they are poor and do not have ability to pay debts, the government can consider to free student from their debts. If parents put their money into savings account for their children to study colleges, until the age of 18, the government will give for free 20% amount of money that parents have saved.
