GSQT – SAT certificate is closely related to the path of studying in the US of many Vietnamese students as well as an important exam that every American student must go through. Therefore, what is the SAT exam format?

SAT certificate
SAT is the reasoning test used in the American college and university application process. This certificate is considered a measure of success that helps the admissions committee to assess the level and quality of students in a standard way.
Organized by College Board and administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS), SAT certificate is one of the important certifications in American education. There are two types of SAT certificates:
SAT I (SAT General Test):
- Evidence-Based Reading and Writing consists of 2 sections: Reading (52 sentences with 5 readings to be done in 60 minutes) and Writing (44 sentences to do in 35 minutes)
- Math consists of 2 exam parts: cannot use the calculator (20 sentences in 25 minutes) and use the calculator (38 sentences in 55 minutes).
- Essay (optional) will be scored separately.
- Scale: 200 – 800 per section.
- Total: 400 – 1600 points.
- Time: 3 hours 45 minutes.
SAT II (SAT Subject Test): This is a separate test for each subject. Depending on your school and your discipline, you will be required to take three of the required subjects.
- Scale: 200 – 800 per subject.
- Time: 60 minutes.

- English: Writing and Literature.
- History: US History and World History.
- Math: Level 1 and Level 2.
- Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
- Languages (Reading only): French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Latin, Spanish.
- Languages (Reading and Listening): Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish.
